A true “Local”, Jim grew up in Vail after his family moved to the Valley in 1969. He treasures his experiences growing up in the little ski town that has become a world class resort. He has seen changes such as his elementary school transform into the Vail Valley Hospital, Uncle Ern’s Billard Barn become the Solaris Grand Resort and the Kentucky Fried Chicken replaced with the corner Fur Shop . He was even President Ford’s personal dog sitter as a young teenager . After graduating from the University of Colorado in Boulder, he returned and met his wife, Liz, in 1993 while they were ski instructors in Vail. They now have three young children, twins - Ethan and Olivia and baby Eliza. They are actively involved in the communities throughout the Vail Valley. Jim obtained his real estate license in 2004 after having worked for two prominent local real estate developers for over 11 years in technology management. He also owns and operates a technology consulting practice, servicing real estate developments and golf resorts throughout the United States. Jim coaches youth sports, including skiing, football, basketball and baseball. He has a passion for the Vail Valley and has always appreciated its offerings and beauty. His experience and working knowledge of the local markets and developments have proven to be an invaluable possession. He is just as passionate and dedicated to his clients' experiences as he is to his own fond memories.
