Lionshead

Home to an eight person gondola, this is Vail’s second base area.
Originally designed in a contemporary French Alps motif; Lionshead is
currently being remodeled into a more traditional Tyrolean resort
village. High density residential buildings surround the base of the
lifts while hotels are located on the Lionshead perimeter. Shops and
restaurants line both sides of the heated brick walkways, always
bustling with tourists from all over the world.
